Pedal to Produce; Koonwarra Cycling Tour. Sat Sept 6 2014

Experience the regions produce and countryside in a fun and informative way.

What: A cycling tour from the Koonwarra Farmers Market to two local properties followed by lunch (return transport back to the market provided). Approximately 6km of easy riding.

Where: Meet at 10am at the Koonwarra Farmers Market, Koonwarra-Inverloch Road, Koonwarra

Time:   10.00am 2.00pm

Cost: $20 per person includes bike hire and lunch (gourmet venison sausage /vegetarian alternative)

Managing Wet Soils to Minimize Damage by Livestock. Fri Sept 26 2014

Hear about Chris Johnson and Joe Seawright's experiences of managing their wet soils and river flats for optimum production. By working closely with Melbourne Water and Lancdare, their farm has been transformed with tracks, subdivision, stock containment areas and pasture renovation.
