Expressios of Interest sought for Koala projects in the Latrobe Region

Do you have property between Boolarra Regional Park and Morwell National Park?

If so, your property could be a key link in a proposed corridor to protect and restore koala habitat in the Latrobe Vally.

Activties funded:

Fencing- up to $6 per metre

Revegetation- native plants or seed

Woody weed control- primarily blackberry

Shade and Shelter for Livestock Production Field Day Monday 16th of Feb 2015, 9.45am-2.30pm at Loch

 

Livestock graziers are invited to attend a field day on the design and management of shade and shelter for a productive farming system.

Guest speakers:

Land Management Extension Officer, Kylie Macreadie will present on design possibilites and shelter and shade management for your property.

District Veterinary Officer, Dianne Phillips will outline the animal health impacts of hot and cold weather evenets on livestock.

Where: 180 Andersons Hill Road, Loch.

What to bring: a chair and suitable outdoor clothing.
